To be honest I only bought these to store my 4 different Cheez-it flavors. So 1 regular size carton is 1 carton per container or 1 carton is 2 containers. For example, they have a large mouth opening and foam padding in the lid for tightness. Inexpensive, durable, yes, they are not made of flimsy or flimsy plastic. I also like that one side is shaped for a comfortable grip.

I love these containers and love the large and very small sizes. I ordered them for paint because I was painting my rooms and some of the jars didn't close properly. It destroys all color. They are ideal because they are clear, light weight and sized according to how much paint is left. They also look better than a bunch of rusty cans. This is sold as a 48 oz. Definitely NOT 48 oz. The planter's square peanut container is 34.5 oz. I was expecting something more than a planter. What I received was significantly smaller than the planter at 34.5 ounces. Very disappointed. Should have returned them but the return to the store and the time it takes just doesn't work for me. I will use them but I'm not happy I spent so much money to get something that doesn't suit me. I do not recommend buying this.

I bought these hoping to use them for pasta and dry food storage. They are really small, too small for a box of pasta. The ounce size listed is misleading. They only fit in half a box of penne pasta. They're also very thin - thinner than a mayonnaise jar. I find them useful for drawing as some other customers have, but definitely not what I need them for.
