Car Headliner - my new review

My car's headliner got loose by the rear windshield and it would have been uncomfortable to fix if I didn't use a spray glue. This Gorilla Heavy Duty Spray Adhesive did the job and I would purchase it again.

Pros
  • Can be repositionable for easy adjustments
Cons
  • Tends to lose its adhesive power over time

Bottle doesnt last long.

I used it once. That's my feedback! Tried using it again months later and it wont work. I cleaned the cap of but nothing comes out in press.

Pros
  • Used on the headliner of my car. Worked great!
Cons
  • Takes a long time to dry completely

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It does what it's supposed to.

The glue worked well for foam/upholstery projects. It needs a little time to get tacky them you have to press the parts firmly together. I found myself having to clean the nozzle many times because it kept on getting clogged. That was my only annoyance using this product.

Pros
  • Convenient size for easy storage
Cons
  • Difficult to remove without leaving a sticky residue

both cans clogged within 15 seconds of first time use

I've had no problems with other brands and even a smaller can of this brand. Could not get them unclogged and had to discard them.

Pros
  • Ideal for home decor projects
Cons
  • Possibility of overspray, resulting in uneven application

Usually Love Gorilla Glue Products

This is a great product IF you want something that can be removed & repositioned. I was hoping for something a bit more permanent as I used it to hold two items together that will be hung on a wall. As long as no one pulls on the two items, it will be ok, but after a week, I can still easily separate the two items. If that's what you're looking for, then this is for you.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • May not work well on certain materials

Mostly good good for me

This spray is really good and gave it 4/5 stars for when you put the cap back on, sometimes it will get stuck and when you use it next, its clogged up and you have to scrape it! i could have just got a bad can who knows

Pros
  • Bonds instantly for fast-paced projects
Cons
  • Can dull surfaces over time

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Variable adhesion on different materials

On the one hand it was able to adhere a rock to a piece of plastic with ease, but then failed miserably to adhere said plastic to a piece of wood. Was also very good in adhering moss to plastic but not good in adhering the plastic to plexiglass. Not really sure what to make of this stuff.

Pros
  • My only compliant about the product is that is doesn’t dry clear. Works well otherwise
Cons
  • Not suitable for high-heat environments

Amazing after 60 seconds.

Needed to do some carpet and sound foam on the project car. This stuff is amazing. Best stuff I've ever used. At first it's a little watery but after a minute it gets REALLY sticky then it doesn't let go of any surface. My buddy was so happy he took the bottle and went into his car to go too his saggy roof and door liner.

Pros
  • Multipurpose use for versatile projects
Cons
  • Prone to splatter, making it difficult to use

Revainrating 4 out of 5

User friendly and easy to get good results.

Easy tp use and bonds pretty well. You can reposition the work easily within a minute or two of application. You get a lot of adhesive for the money. The nozzle gets buildup after several sessions and if you don't remove the buildup, you will get drips where you don't want them.

Pros
  • Very easy to use
Cons
  • Difficult to use without making a mess

Worked well best in my review

My daughter had a project and her paper and picture items had to be laminated and posted on a posterboard to be displayed by sitting or hanging. I bought this glue for that purpose and it held the laminated items up with ease. We sprayed each item outside and on the grass. There didn't seem to be any smells but I wanted to be safe, just in case.

Pros
  • Quick and easy application with a spray nozzle
Cons
  • Can cause a tacky feeling on the skin if you come into contact with it

Perfect Aerosol Glue

I'v never used spray on glue before, but had ideas how it would apply, dry and hold. This Gorilla glue met or exceeded all expectations. DO KEEP the nozzle clean as instructed. It is glue and glue is sticky and hardens.

Pros
  • Craft Supplies
Cons
  • Can only be used on clean surfaces

This adhesive works -- be sure before you spray!

This easy-to-use spray adhesive is a miracle product. Just know that after you spray and apply something it's going to stick forever.

Pros
  • Strong grip for heavy-duty projects
Cons
  • Can have a harsh chemical smell

It's awesome on my review.

Yes it works great, and yes it's sticky so the nozzle will come off. Part of it. Worked very good for my headliner. Don't listen to the other bad reviews. I've been in construction for 20 years, this is way BETTER than any other spray adhesive. Promise

Pros
  • Great product, but careful where you spray. It’s super sticky stuff and coats everything it touches
Cons
  • Not environmentally friendly

Great! Very sticky!

I used this to glue my floor tiles down and my wallpaper. Seems to be holding up well! Although I bought 2 cans and the first can became really gooped up on the sprayer nozzle. 2 nd can I have had no issues! Be careful if u get it on your hands as it Will NOT wash off

Pros
  • Will not damage surfaces with strong solvent
Cons
  • Potentially hazardous to store in a home or work environment

Easy to use and did the job I needed

I bought this to help hold contact paper down on a not so smooth old card table. It was easy to apply and did a good job. Haven't had any issues with the contact paper pulling up like I had previously without this product.

Pros
  • Can withstand wear and tear of everyday use
Cons
  • Not recommended for use on food surfaces

This sticks good and fast

I ordered this stuff because I have new kittens who are a bit naughty. They have been scratching and pulling up the carpet between my dining room and the tiled entryway. This Gorilla Spray Adhesive is easy to use and did the trick! The only issue I have is once I spray it and I want to hold down the surfaces to be glued, what do I hold them down with? Paper towels stick. Rubber gloves stick. My fingers worked well but then of course I had glue stuck to my fingers.

Pros
  • Used it to hang some sound dampening pads and worked PERFECT. Highly recommend.
Cons
  • May yellow over time

So easy and strong for my opinion

Glued marine vinyl & heavy duty carpet to wood. It says no vinyl but worked for me.Make sure both surfaces are clean and dry.Spray both sides and let it get so tacky that your finger barely sticks, then press together and hold for 20-30 sec. The time window is narrow so practice on scraps first. That worked great for me, even holds a thick-backed carpet over an edge with just about 1” of overlap. Just hitting one side or attaching when wet didn’t work well but I’m impressed!

Pros
  • Suitable for marine and boat building projects
Cons
  • Can irritate the eyes and lungs if inhaled

Handy product: my feedback

This was purchased to affix glitter fabric to a hatbox. Worked great and be sure to use over a protective bit of cardboard as there IS an overspray.

Pros
  • Adhesive Sheets & Sprays
Cons
  • Challenging to work with if you have no experience using spray adhesives

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Used to paste old liquor bottle labels to tool boxes

Product is strong, and easy to use, if a bit messy. Plan ahead where you're going to spray it and make sure everythign is masked off to prevent overspray from messing things up.

Pros
  • Resists water, heat and cold temperatures
Cons
  • Not suitable for use around children and pets
