Ideal for Christmas Lights

Bought because I needed a shorter outdoor extension that could withstand the midwest winter weather. It is well made, withstands freezing temperatures and snow and has a good length. I also like outlet covers that open and close; It's a nicer design than outlet covers that dangle from the cord when not in use. Will be buying more for the holiday season next year.

Works well in electrical applications

We used this extension for outdoor holiday decorations. We appreciated the ability to close unused plug-ins to prevent rain or snow from getting inside. Flashing red and blue lights are great for locating the plug in the dark, inclement weather, etc., but if it's near a window it's very noticeable from inside the home. We had to hide this part under the grill so it wouldn't bother us all night.

Stay flexible in the extremely cold temperatures in Alaska.

extension cords feel nice, like soft rubber, but at the same time strong and durable. The flashing red and blue lights are the main reason I bought this heating cable and they work like a charm. Flashing lights are clearly visible from afar. A nice added bonus is the double-sided Velcro that keeps the cord in one convenient storage location.
