🚿 Clear2O CRV2006 RV and Marine Inline Water Filter - Enhanced Purification for Refreshing Drinking, Cleaning, and Showering Water (Green) Review

The very first time we hooked it up at the campsite there was a leak. The plastic end of the receiver wore out very quickly when attached to the hose. Unfortunately, the delay between purchase and first use was too long to get a refund. I would not recommend this filter.

Filters significantly reduce water pressure. They don't stay charged. Air pockets pass through RV pipes every day. Especially in the toilet. You need to hold the pedal @ 1/4 for 30-40 seconds for the file to flow, you can hear the filter squeaking through the bottom. Yes, installed correctly. No leaks. Same exit. No freezing. No system errors. Just a very weak and very restrictive water filter. I will not buy again. Back to Camco

The water in this state park is heavily chlorinated, so the shower smelled strongly of chlorine. After reading the reviews I gave it a try and was very satisfied! Yes the pressure has dropped a bit but part of that may be due to the 225ft hose I have to use to connect to the plumbing! No smell and now I don't even have to buy bottled water for my coffee maker. I also have the Clear2O Dirtguard pre-filter and am 100% happy with this combo!

This was out of stock and I bought it from another store. How the filter works great. As advertised, the lower micron rating made a difference. Taste and smell improved immediately. The problem is that since it's a solid filter, not a granular one, it reduces the water pressure significantly. The pressure at my campsite is decent at best. I was able to install shower and sink faucets that improved that, but this filter greatly reduced it. Return to the granular filter at a higher micron rate to
