PERFECT 4 ME! suitable for women

I just received my first pair of dancing shoes. After reading the info I downsized my 9M street shoes to 8.5N and they fit like Cinderella slippers. The heel is exactly what I wanted. I'm 66 and sprained both my ankles so they're weak. I don't want to risk stretching them again while dancing happily. BUT I wanted leather and it turned out all the color options are just satin and mesh. I hope they last a long time and are comfortable when I start using them. I'm a bit skeptical given the priceโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Ideal materials: made of light materials. Highly elastic latex sole, sweat-absorbing suede insole, soft, breathable lining, very pleasant to the touch.
Cons
  • Nothing here

Good training shoes!

I bought these shoes for ballroom dancing. They are very comfortable and easy to dance in. The low, wide heel helps you keep your balance. The strap works very well. I was concerned that the forefoot straps would be too tight because my feet are a bit wider. However, it fits well. There is some maneuvering to do when first putting your foot in the shoe, but once you adjust it, it becomes very comfortable. I also use these shoes for the west coast swing. This is a good all-purpose shoe.

Pros
  • Dressed up: Simple and elegant design with high-quality satin and mesh top. Very durable, comfortable dance shoes that allow you to glide easily and gracefully across the floor.
Cons
  • Something else

Highly recommend - great shoes for beginners, great price

I am returning to ballroom dancing after a 2 year hiatus and am having trouble with my old 2.5 inch heels. I decided to buy low-heeled shoes to practice in until I strengthened my legs and regained my balance. I have bought many dance shoes and have been very happy with them. One of the most comfortable pairs I've had, I barely felt them and could move easily. I have wide feet and high arches, and they support my feet rather than pinch them. For less than $20, you can't beat the price.

Pros
  • Suede sole
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

So comfortable but still difficult to put on

I gave it 4 stars because although they don't have a buckle, trying to fit the strap into a small slot takes a lot of effort unless your hands and Fingers are flexible enough, and as with any shoe that you need to buckle or tie, you generally have to bend down, and if you're overweight it's quite a difficult task. I couldn't, so my farsighted dance partner tried to strap them on in a dimly lit room and I helped with the flashlight and he even struggled to get the strap into the slot. Myโ€ฆ
