The first thing was the packaging. I liked it very much! The case is great, a bit bulky when you need it in your pocket but otherwise very nice and sturdy. I had high hopes for them. The noise cancellation doesn't get much better than just turning the option off. Ambient mode is pretty good but definitely sounds like you're listening through a 5 year old phone mic. There are also serious connection problems. I can't get far from my phone (like 3 meters with no walls) and sometimes there are very loud volume bursts that hurt my ear. I like this product in general, its quality and concept. However, I ran into too many problems for this to be an update of the original Cleer Ally model (not the Plus). Sound and clarity are amazing, and additional features like noise and ambient noise cancellation and volume control work really well. These Cleer Ally Plus in-ear headphones have very low bass but still have excellent mids and highs. Excellent clarity and also the interval sounds very open. This is subjective, but if you prefer a warmer sound, this is your ally, pun intended. Can't stress BASS but they still sound clean, puns everywhere.
