Really good but easily broken

I've been through a lot of clicks so I have a love-hate relationship. They're incredibly comfortable, so much so that I almost reflexively grab them by the shoulders. And I keep buying them, even though they don't take the wear and tear. Two major flaws, one in design, the other in production. First, over time, the bracket will break at the plastic/adjustable metal interface. I've tried many fixes and nothing seems to work very well or for very long, so a replacement is needed.
