These might fit a 6 year old but once you put them on they will catch your eye. I sent them back. I have 3 pairs that I've had for years but the plastic was getting brittle so I had to glue them on yes but that's my only choice. I recommend NOT BUYING.

I have been using these glasses for a long time. I always have problems with their removal and damage to traditional readers. They won't fall off and can hang around your neck when not in use. Please note that delivery takes 2 months if the style or color you want is out of stock. It's not listed anywhere in the insert, and you won't know until you look.

The magnification is excellent, it seems strong but a little uncomfortable. The part that wraps around the nape of the neck (below the long hair) sticks out, causing the part you're looking through to move and not sit directly on the nose. Even though it comes with adjustable sideshifts, I just couldn't get it right. In addition, both hands were required for donning and doffing. I need a pair that I can easily operate with one hand.
