Works perfectly. Beautifully designed.

Installed on a 2003 Mustang. There was a plugged hole in the dash so I altered the hole, routed some wires and permanently installed this USB charging port. It is great. You no longer have to search for a cigarette lighter adapter, the charger is always with you.

Quick and easy installation

Quick and easy installation. Love the fact that they come with connectors that you simply crimp with wires from the 12v socket you are replacing. The lock nut holds the device very securely and they don't move when USB cables are plugged in or unplugged. I will be buying more of these for the back of my car.

Very easy installation, even for car newbies

Very easy installation, even for car newbies. I just replaced the outlet in my 2011 Chevy Cruze with this great item. There are no instructions in the kit, but when you get to the wiring you can figure it out. It looks great in my car and performs better than my original part. I would definitely recommend this. It has already charged 2% in the last 5 minutes using a Lightning charger in the 2.1A port on my Galaxy Note 3 phone.

I like the lighted outlet

I love the lighted socket. Actual sockets have little tolerance. The body diameter is slightly larger than the standard mounting hole. I had to shorten a little. The rubber is great too. I want it to be symmetrical so I can pull the retaining tab at the bottom, the stool will read the writing and when the tab is closed it will fit in the middle. When the tab opens, it interferes with the light and writing during use. I can just cut it. I added this outlet to my "always on" 20 amp outlet so I…
