Do not buy the best in lighting and electrical

POS, do not buy. I installed this on a trolling motor battery to keep track of the charge. When I started it showed 12.9v, within 10 minutes it showed 10v and was moving between 9v and 11v. The motor ran all day with no problems. When I got home there were 12.2 left. This thing is useless.

In direct sunlight the red color is not the best, I try green as recommended by the seller

Unfortunately after 2 days it stopped working. The seller was very generous and offered a replacement even though Amazon's warranty had already expired. I'll try a new one, hope it lasts longer. In direct sunlight, red is not the best, try green as the seller recommended.

Glad it held up.

Bought for an old self propelled mower. Worked great for about 3 hours of inconsistent use before the display started flashing between voltage and 88.8 or 00.0. After a bit of research I found that the negative terminal had failed internally and wasn't making a good/reliable connection. On the other hand, the green display was bright and the voltage was accurate compared to my multimeter.
