Good for transferring hand embroidery designs

I will be using tracing paper to transfer hand embroidery designs onto fabric. I would be very happy if you offer a package with the same number of white and blue sheets. I think the price is average.

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Good but not great

useful product good product for painting painting

seems to work very well. Yes, you need to work on a hard surface, press hard, and wipe things over a few times. Using a tracing wheel for longer lines and a blunt pencil for dots and other small details worked for me. So far everything has washed off even when I ironed it

Too light for pattern marking

I used this tracing paper in three colors (yellow, pink and blue). I've used several transfer tools including a tracing wheel, pen, and brute force. Unfortunately, it doesn't mix well and even darker colors look very pale on the lightest fabrics. This makes it difficult to see. I've used other brands that I prefer.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Disappears too easily

Over the years I've used probably a hundred different types of tracing paper. When I find good stuff the packaging disappears and I have no idea what to buy again. Unfortunately, this isn't "good stuff". It's "good enough stuff," though, and it's good enough for now. If I look closely, the spots disappear. I don't recommend this if you like to sew on the "mark and sew tomorrow" principle.

Pros
  • art paper
Cons
  • unreliable

Ideal for computer printing, transfer to art t-shirts

I bought this paper to transfer computer prints to art t-shirts (and maybe an umbrella!). I agree with other reviewers that it's best used on a hard surface where you can apply adequate pressure. I also agree with the reviewer who suggested using a ballpoint pen instead of a copy wheel. I use a lacquered chopstick. I also think markings on printed fabrics are hard to see. It's good value for money in a crazy world, but I think the prices for this type of product are undoubtedly ridiculous for…

Pros
  • Arts, art and craft supplies
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

Not the most useful carbon paper

I was very excited to use carbon paper in my big project (an elegant Renaissance gown, plus two muslin shirts/blouses in reindeer). I used blue on muslin and it worked really well. I was glad I didn't have to cut pieces of the paper pattern. Unfortunately, only blue seems to work that well. I tried other colors but they didn't work. Also when I tried to use it on brocade (polyester) it barely showed up. This was especially frustrating as there was a lot of markup to add to this template. I used

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Concise Instructions
