I have just received these needles and am very happy. I've been looking at sewing needles versus quilting needles etc. I make masks and need the needles to easily go through 2 and 3 layers. These are great pens but the main reason I am writing this review is to clarify the size of these pens so others don't get confused and run into problems like I did. These pins (Item #2509) are 0.5mm thick, not 0.6mm as stated in the description.
