A little cleaning is best in crockery and serving utensils

As my friend said, "the best invention since the lightbulb!" Used for my chicken soup and sifting fat and herbs for the soup took half the time. I used one for soup vegetables and one for chicken. I recommend these packs to anyone making homemade soups.

Pros
  • 100% natural cotton wax-free mesh sock for cooking soup, meat and/or vegetables
Cons
  • Long delivery time

It was a great help in preparing the broth

I was asked to rate the taste but decided not to eat it. I've used it to make six liters of chicken broth and it worked well for controlling the solids when it came time to strain the broth - I would recommend this if you're making your own broth/broth.

Pros
  • No need to strain the soup Can be boiled
Cons
  • Unsure

Soup bags are good to use.

About 12 years ago I finally learned the importance of soup pouches when making chicken soup. I've always been annoyed by the bones in my soup. These bags are enough for a small chicken or 1/2 larger chicken. What I didn't like was that it was delivered in a postal package. I rinsed each one well before using it. It was a good price compared to buying smaller and less packaged ones on the market.

Pros
  • Cook and steam only (not suitable for oven)
Cons
  • Expensive
