Great value for money, enough to repack 2 large mufflers. Use it on a Mazda rx8 and it's holding up well. The rotor has one of the highest exhaust temperatures, which is great.

This is the only type of insulation that can be safely installed directly on a single-walled chimney. I've used it to seal the air space around the tube and it works great and upon inspection after a few shots you won't notice any change or discoloration. That's what I expected as I've used a similar product before. Nothing I dislike about the product, just a caveat to any type of isolation like this is the use of a particle mask when working with it. Very happy with it.

It's legal! I bought this for the Kettle Pizza Grill project to keep the grill dome insulated to better retain heat. For my application I would have to constantly add wood to the grill to maintain the temperature (700-850°F). After cutting it down to the ceramic insulation, wrapping it in foil and stuffing it around the dome/lid opening, I was able to maintain a fairly constant temperature.
