WOW cut cable, not acceptable.

Came with a cut wire. Ordered to have it in stock for my installer. Can't replace it and get it on time, NOW. VERY UNHAPPY. Very poor quality control. I'm not sure what would have happened if 1. hadn't ordered earlier, 2. hadn't checked it on arrival.

Pros
  • The best
Cons

Pen size for Logitech Harmony

When we switched to a new provider for TV and Internet, the IR booster on their box was not working and the technician recommended this unit for a second connection to our Logitech Harmony. The pin is too big for the Harmony block so I had to buy an adaptor, a 2.5mm adaptor.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Purchased for Xbox One

Wanted to use the Xbox remote to control the power and volume of all devices in the entertainment center. Plugged it in the back and put an IR emitter in front of each device and for 5 minutes I joked with my family about The One Remote. Jokes aside, this was the best buy of the month. Update: 2 years later and I've never had a problem with it.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Infinitely Sluggish

As good as I've seen at a great price.

These emitters worked fine with my system. The cables have good elasticity and are not too rigid. I really wish the makers of these products had thicker wires or at least ferrules as they tend to short out when pulled. However, they work as they should and compared to others they are as good as I've seen at a really great price.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

High quality and great performance if flashing lights are ok for you

Purchased for Logitech Harmony. By plugging in a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter I was able to connect 3 devices to one of the Harmony ports. This may be annoying for some, but the emitters will flash red when an IR signal is present. I took this as encouraging confirmation that the blasters actually fired when I thought they should. Clay has also experienced multiple reattachments over the past few months. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone installing a Logitech Harmony or anyone who needs aโ€ฆ

Works with my Xbox One and Uverse

Let me control my Uverse box with my Xbox remote. I'm a fan. *Note. I was only able to get basic functionality from an Xbox controller as a remote control. Channel switching, volume, on/off. sometimes play ff and backwards. I can't post. I also can't click OK to wake up the Uverse block after it has gone to sleep. While it's a little annoying that you still need a regular remote (more than I'd like), I think it's due to the limited functionality of the Xbox and NOT the IR emitter, which is whyโ€ฆ

I would love the automation they bring if only they were reliable.

I used these with my Xbox One to control my TV and receiver. The only problem I had was the emitter on the TV fell off after about a week, I think the glue used was too weak? It sticks well to the receiver and they are the same materials so I don't know why one fell off. I stuck it back on and so far it's still there (it's been working for about 3 days now). I'm having an issue where my TV doesn't always turn on or off. I'm not 100% sure yet if it's the emitter or the Xbox settings/featuresโ€ฆ
