I bought these for a cruise to use on medal walls and doors. They were GREAT and could handle a lot of moisture for all my purposes. I was able to put Easter decorations on the doors and in the rooms which was nice as we weren't home and could use some Easter (our cruise was Easter of course). Just what I needed to partially organize my matchbox sized kitchen (scissors/mittens/oven mitts etc.) can now be placed on top of the fridge instead of hanging from drawers and cupboards. I bought these hooks to take on a cruise ship. You were completely useless! Hang up my jacket. Slide down, hang up a wet towel. slides down. Some items fell completely on the ground, like my binoculars. It said 18 lbs but now I read further and it says 4 lbs of glide. So that they don't mislead you.
