With older firmware and my M281 prints with it. Just no duplex or multiple copies.

I really wanted to have it. I really wanted to save a ton of toner. It shouldn't be that hard, but HP sucks. So I downgraded the firmware and I can print. See cartridges. But I can't duplicate or make multiple copies. What is a breach of contract. I lived with that, but now I MUST print double-sided. So I have to either buy an expensive HP toner or buy a new printer. Be careful. Maybe if they send it with new chips. May be. My order should be. But I had a terrible problem with invalid toner…

Excellent customer service to resolve the compatibility issue

I purchased this toner in October but didn't need to install it on my HP M281 CD until March. Unknown to me at the time, HP had installed a firmware update in November that prevented the printer from working with non-HP toner cartridges. Well, HP toner is about 4 times more expensive than this one! So I contacted the seller to see if they had a solution. They responded VERY quickly and offered several solutions to the problem. 1) revert to an older firmware version, 2) put chips from my old HP…

Works well enough for Reman

Need to replace my toner as things started to fade. Despite the skepticism, I decided to give it a try. Can't speak to what others have experienced, but so far so good. Definitely a reman, but so far it's working well enough for my use. I've only had it for a few days, I'll update when it's gone!

I have been using CMYBabee cartridges in my HP Laserjet M254dw printer for a while and am very happy with them. Print quality is no different than factory HP cartridges. They just work. Yesterday, at HP's suggestion, I allowed my printer to update the firmware. Suddenly my CMYBabee cartridges stopped working in the printer. Great HP replacement cartridge.

I didn't want to spend 3x more on HP toners so I took a chance and bought them. I don't see any difference in quality yet. I've printed a few hundred pages in black and a few dozen in color and the quality seems to be on par with HP cartridges. As for durability, I guess time will tell. I noticed that HP has released a firmware update for their wireless printers to exclude all toner cartridges other than their own.
