Description of Coastal - Walk 'n Train! - Dog Head Halter, Black, 🐶 XLG (4): Train Your Dog Effectively while Walking by Using this Head Halter

Unique design fits like a collar, but works like a no-pull head halter by guiding the head–and where the head goes, the body follows. When your dog pulls, they receive gentle pressure on their snout to correct the unwanted behavior. Made of quick-drying polyester webbing with a heavy-duty quick-release snap so it’s easy to put on and take off. Included safety loop attaches to her regular collar so you still maintain control if she slips out of the head halter. Nose band is padded for extra comfort and the side straps allow your dog to still pant and drink water while wearing the halter.

Poorly made for collars, harnesses and leashes

When I first bought this product it lasted a few weeks and it worked really well as it kept our large German shepherd under control while walking her. I've replaced this item 3 times and they don't seem to last more than a couple of weeks. The fabric just wears out and then the line snaps. I ordered a very large size because my dog is 60lbs but this leash just can't hold up, the fabric seems very flimsy for a leash said to be made for a large dog. The price also continues to rise. I will not…

Perfect fit for my Pitbull who likes to pull.

This collar worked the first time on my 55 lb pit bull! During the day I put it on for a few minutes to get her used to it and then left it on for our evening walk. It worked right away! It kept her from "getting my arm out of joint" by pulling! She tried several times unsuccessfully to tear it off. He stayed on without missing a shot. Now she walks beside me. We haven't been able to test it on a rabbit or squirrel, but I'm sure they'll be a lot more manageable than before. I am very happy with

Lifebuoy with collars, harnesses and leashes

I have a 100 lb muscular dog that loves to pull and I'm a little slut and he actually dragged me through the mud before just putting me on his back pulled when I caught him on a regular collar. I was afraid to leave. This headdress is an absolute lifesaver and it's like night and day! This does not allow him to draw at all and has taught him not to. Now I can walk with him confidently and he is much happier! I wish I had found it sooner! His head and neck are huge and the collar is very durable

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! for collars, harnesses and leashes

I have a 100 lb 1 year old Big Swiss Mountain Dog who pulls terribly when walking and running! It doesn't help that I'm a very small woman and he's still a puppy. I've tried various ways to get it to walk next to me and NOTHING works. He's totally obedient and trained aside from the fact that he pulls like hell! I received this collar and the first time I used it it went PERFECTLY down my side! I honestly couldn't believe it but it has been fixed! It took him a while to get used to it, but once

  • High marks for grip and durability from testers

Must have for big dogs!

I have been using this product for four years now and decided it was time to replace my old one. I wasn't sure what size to order but got a size 4 for my 114 lb husky/retriever and it was perfect! Yes, it's really hard to control. When a butterfly flies by, someone rides a horse, or there's a cat in the field, he goes nuts. I'm 60 years old and small so it's difficult for me to control him, he's very strong. I think Halti is the only solution! I have tried all sorts of collars and halters but…

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Our Labradoodle's love of running overcomes his resistance to using this collar and walking him with this excuse of walking the coast on his head is quite a different matter than walking him without it. With this collar, after a pair of fingers, the paw will run across the collar's snout to show he doesn't like it, then he will become a quiet, obedient dog, holding his head up and enjoying a quiet walk. Without that collar, he pulls the Iditarod like a husky champion, keeps his nose to the…

  • Absolutely amazing!

Great collar for giant breeds

I ordered size 4 for my Great Dane and it fits perfectly in the space when needed. This collar has a wider, padded muzzle compared to the padded leash I've been using for 10 years. This means it won't rub or cut my dog's skin and is more comfortable for the dog. I also like that it has an extra strap that attaches to the neck collar, which gives a little more certainty that the muzzle strap will slip off for some reason (this has never happened, but it's possible). I would recommend this collar
