I ordered size 4 for my Great Dane and it fits perfectly in the space when needed. This collar has a wider, padded muzzle compared to the padded leash I've been using for 10 years. This means it won't rub or cut my dog's skin and is more comfortable for the dog. I also like that it has an extra strap that attaches to the neck collar, which gives a little more certainty that the muzzle strap will slip off for some reason (this has never happened, but it's possible).
