🐾 Coastal - Circle T - Oak Tanned Red Leather Round Dog Collar, 1-inch x 18-inch Review

The collar is well made and very cute but the red color from my white dog so much that I no longer use it. I even tried wiping off the excess paint with a damp cloth and my dog's neck was still turning red. Only used two days.

We have two Llewellyn Setters. We use these collars on purpose because they don't get tangled in the dog's long hair. Our oldest has worn the collar for almost ten years now. I even accidentally ordered the wrong size and the return process to re-order the correct size was easy.

My groomer recommended rounded leather collars to avoid neck tangling. They actually make the matting worse as they move more than my previous standard of nylon collars. (Maybe she wanted employment insurance, lol). Warning - I bought it in red and when it gets wet it stains everything it touches.

I have been using a T-circle but lately the quality has been the same but the length has changed. My regular 18" is suddenly shorter than my old ones. The collar was too long when I ordered it. Also, red was always sold out. Hooray. I'm very happy with this collar. Circle T once again lives up to the standards I've come to trust .

I have boxer shorts and have tried many collars and all have their necks exposed. I left her without a collar most of the day for over a month but I was afraid she would come out of the fence without a tag. This collar works great and she keeps it on 24/7. I don't use it to walk her, I put a harness on and when we go to the dog park I swap out her collar for a nylon one. It's thin and doesn't bother her, but I haven't used it for walking, it pulls too hard

Perfect and great! High quality leather collar. Holds up well after washing. color does not fade. Has held up to my weekly wash (after dog park mud) so we're very happy with this purchase. A year later - still looks great but the leather on the buckle is worn (from turning it on and off a lot). On a chain (a rare case) I turned a full circle behind the rabbit. Luckily the collar broke at this point. disappointed it didn't last more than a year but glad my dog wasn't hurt.

I love this rolled leather collar for our boxer pup. I have measured her neck 4 times and ordered on the website and it fits but it is a second from the last 'hole' resulting in the end of the leather clasp NOT fitting the outer D ring to snug in to fit the collar. Needless to say, this was my second purchase from this company. The first leash was a "regular" flat collar and was the perfect size. I left it in the cart when I went to Home Depot to find another D-ring for the collar as our boxer…
