🔗 White Sport Separating Zipper - Coats Thread & Zippers F4318-WHT, 18 inches Review

From insufficient photos you would never guess that this is a zipper with very large teeth. Not what I need for a fancy jacket. (No outerwear.) So I returned it. The flash was probably ok, but there was no description or photos.

I bought this to protect a men's hoodie from the rain. Without even thinking of checking it, I ordered and fixed the jacket before realizing the train was on the left. Reading the questions NOW, I see confusion about this detail. men are right. women left. I have a female zipper. Too late! I believe that this information should be noted, obviously and correctly! Reading other reviews there seems to be a discrepancy: RIGHT OR LEFT, PLASTIC OR METAL. MY PLASTIC AND LEFT SIDE/WOMEN'S CLOTHING.

I managed to repair an expensive winter coat by removing the old zipper and replacing it with this one. It takes extra work to carefully sew the torn layers on the front of the coat, but it turned out just fine. I learned from my mistakes and made sure I pinned the two sides together first while it was zippered to make sure they lined up correctly, and then unzipped to sew the sides apart. I was wondering how accurate the measurements described are and they are pretty close. I went for it and ordered two of them and am very satisfied. I calculated that I would need 26 inches of the zipper, not counting the extra fabric at the end, and that's basically what I got. I measured them closer to 25 7/8 inches but that's pretty close and both zippers were exactly the same.
