Heater for the 21st Century

I have purchased a large number of aquarium heaters over the years and they have all been variations with the same one function and the same design, and has remained virtually unchanged for more than five decades - a long tube, glass or plastic case containing heating elements, which are then connected to some sort of thermostatic circuit. Pros
  • Electronic Thermostat 20°C to 34°C, Accuracy ±0.5°F
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Pros
  • LED DISPLAY for simultaneous setting of temperature and tank temperature.
Cons
  • infuriates

I emailed Cobalt Aquatics and the rep was quick to reply and said if I left him my phone number he would call back to resolve the situation. I have not heard from this representative and this company has not done anything to honor their three year warranty. Therefore, I have downgraded this product accordingly. I…

Pros
  • AUTOMATIC OFF circuit prevents overheating.
Cons
  • Clarity
