Lights suck. You can't see this thing during the day, at least not with a convertible, so that's all the audible alerts to go through because you won't see anything at all on this thing's panel. It's a good size though, the older model I had had brighter panel lighting. It works, you just need to learn different alarms.

I recently bought this for a 14 hour trip and it has done the job more than a few times! I'd like to read the manual on how to turn off certain areas because sometimes the beep can drive someone crazy. Overall it met my needs at the time, worked, was easy to mount on the windshield (I had a rental car and didn't need a permanent mount) and was cheap. A good product.

We used it on our summer trip (1400 miles one way) this month. We have another Cobra that we love - great product. It was a different model for about the same price. It was very unreliable. Vertically everything was in K-band except for four cases (2 X-bands and two lasers). It would then turn off when nothing was around and wouldn't stop until it was turned off. Our dean drove our other car with the original Cobra and said it works fine. I think this product is a joke. Don't waste your money…
