Don't get me wrong, they are not flat but look thinner than regular cable ties. I found them more difficult to tie, but what helped was holding the buckle with a screwdriver and pulling on the tie with pliers. After a few extra clicks, they become solid.

I use Cobra cable ties as they were only available on their website. I am very glad they are available from Revain. I like that the cut end disappears into the flat head so there is no sharp end to cut people which is a big problem with regular zip ties. I am surprised that normal cable ties are still used.
