Clean audio in portable AV

These are great compact radios. They are easy to set up and use. The signal is clear enough and easy to hear. They don't seem to be as durable as professional models, but that's to be expected. Ideal for convenient mobile communication.

Pros
  • Great value for money
Cons

Very clear sound for indoor use compared to other electronics

They were extremely easy to set up and use, and charged quickly in just three hours. But the sound quality, especially in a room with other electronics, is excellent. I understand why they are promoted for domestic business. Haven't tried them outdoors yet but will be loaning them out to friends to hunt to see how well they get along and socialize outside.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive

Long range and clear sound

This product is very easy to use. Ideal for professional use or outdoor mountain bear hunting where phone reception is poor. It has a large radius of action of up to 350,000 square meters and 25 floors. Good clear sound quality. No licenses required. It has a VOX hands-free function. Long-lasting battery (up to eighteen hours). Lightweight and easy to transport. Comfortable for several hours. Supplied with rotating case. It is water resistant but not waterproof. Pretty durable stuff. Easy…

Good for what they were designed for: indoor, shop/office.

These walkie-talkies are average in power and sound compared to other devices we've had. Well to be fair these Cobras are being sold for business use and I think they will outperform in a building/office setting. Our family typically uses walkie-talkies for outdoor use, and they work reasonably well in our wooded area where cell phone coverage can be spotty. The maximum coverage is about 8 hectares. The clip is our favorite feature and it's really reliable. In fact, we found it a bit tricky to…

Works well in our area

This Cobra PX880 Pro business radio is a very useful piece of equipment that works well. The package includes rechargeable batteries, charging station, micro USB cable with two charging pins (plus connector) and belt clips. You have to unscrew the battery cover for each walkie-talkie and plug in the battery, but other than that it's pretty much plug and play. The tricky part of this was actually turning the top rotary switch to "ON" which was very tight. My husband needed the elastics to really

Useless Junk - Walkie Talkie

We received these walkie-talkies and I was immediately struck by their cheap, flimsy construction. Like the other reviewer, I wasn't able to open the battery compartment on any of them. The instructions only say to open the door. So how do you open the door? To make matters worse, one of our radios had its power/volume button completely still, like someone spilled Crazy Glue on it. I have strong fingers, but I couldn't move. Looking through the instructions, I finally found a website address in

Another great camping gear

I find it funny that these radios are called "Pro Business"; We use them when we camp to keep in touch with our son. This is a brilliant amazing tool for that purpose. We usually stay in our camper for about a week no matter which campsite we go to and usually our son takes one of his best friends with him. Although we always accompany them to the lake or pool, they often enjoy going to the slot machines or the playground or playing with friends they have met, and we give them that freedom for…

Great for the beach/yacht club/board where there is no cell service

We have a yacht club with a beach and boardwalk where we often take the kids. My husband and I often split up on the days we drive as he takes the boys and I take the girls. They go fishing or take a boat and we shop on the boardwalk and then we all eat at the club or on the boat. Communication when we were apart was never a problem in the past when we had AT&T. Then I switched to Sprint, signed a contract and realized that I would absolutely NOT be accepted there. This is the perfect solution.

  • Easy to use
