This length of cable allows it to be redirected/hidden in the gap between windscreen and dashboard. I used caulking pieces placed over it to hold it there and then threaded the cord through the crack at the end of the dash to route it behind it and then back into the 12 volt outlet.

Works much better than the standard power cord that came with the Cobra. Communication is not lost either. This was a big problem in my old wire. Every time I hit a bump in the road, the detector would essentially reset or turn off entirely. No longer. Also, it has enough length that I was able to hide it under the fairing. No more cord dangling from my rearview mirror to the cigarette lighter.

The cable works very well, even better than the one that came with my RAD 450. The cord was long enough for what I needed but still not 10 feet long. It is advertised as 10 feet long but is actually only 6 feet long. Would give 5 stars because it's really well made, but only 3 stars because of false advertising.

Worked normally and stood for a long time. I mounted the Cobra to a transom mount transom and needed a longer cable to route the cable out of sight. I installed this in the Odyssey and tucked the cord under the decorations on the top and side and then to where the outlet is. It was long enough to fit.

Very happy with the quality of the cable. I needed more length than the coiled cord that comes with the radar detector. That length gives me overdrive, but the other line was really stretched/stretched. The plug fits the socket very snugly and has an indicator light to show the power has been successfully turned on.
