Works great in coffee, tea and espresso

You'll definitely need to experiment with the amount of coffee you pour. If you give too much, it will overflow. There is some sediment in the coffee but that is to be expected as there is no filter.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Style 90

A must for making tea or hot chocolate. I don't use it for coffee. I have a Colman coffee maker for that. But I use it on my Colman stove to make hot chocolate for the kids and I like Tea, Earl-Grey, Hot. Do not leave water in it overnight or for a long time. The metal discolours. from inside.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No paint required

Simply not. - Espresso and mocha pots on the stove

Bought and was very happy to use on a camping trip! Sitting by the fire in the cold and sipping hot coffee. sounds perfect right? Not correct! The thing melted the first time I used it. Firstly, I've only ever seen percolators with glass tops, and this one is plastic. We did everything right! Install over a flame, not in a fire, direct heat, etc.! It's still melting. Couldn't enjoy a cup of coffee all week because this thing wasn't working. Very sad but lessons learned! Attention buyers!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Weak set

It worked fine but 2 cups wasn't even close to enough coffee. Not to mention that by the time everything is pressed and the coffee is ready to drink, the coffee will be lukewarm at best. I get great coffee while camping thanks to this 9 cup coffee maker, my Coleman stove and the lovely folks at Yuban Coffee Company. Nothing on earth…

Now with plastic handle; not worth the $5 extra

Multiple suppliers supply VERY similar products, likely made in the same factory in China. I've had the Texsport version for years and I'm happy with it. However, the plastic handle on top has recently melted. Rather than buying a replacement plastic pen or buying the same product from Texsport, I chose this more expensive product as the product photo showed a pen that was similar to the similar pen sold under the Coleman brand (or earlier) with a glass grip. Unfortunately the product I…
