This should not be your everyday spatula. Ideal only for pieces that are too small for a large spatula. But it does its job well and the litter box is very clean!

I like this shovel but am disappointed because the holes are too big. How is he supposed to pick up small droppings from the sand and/or dirt when everything is on his mind?

VERY VERY VERY small. Like a little can opener. But it does its job and serves its purpose. Gets those really tiny pebbles in the litter box. I would not buy a litter box. But maybe as a feeding spoon or for much smaller animals.

The scoop is much smaller than I thought it would do the job and the holes are too small to sift through dirt and just remove debris. It's hard to use for its intended purpose, but if you don't care about sifting, that's fine.

Sturdy, easy to use, gets into corners and the hole size is perfect for passing a small amount of clay cat litter while keeping even small pieces of poo inside Scoop. Excellent. Large shovels are faster, but small lumps of clay or excrement will fit through the large openings of these shovels.

I rescued a stray cat who has chronic diarrhea (seen by several vets who all say not to worry and just wait) and as a result his litter box is very difficult to close clean, because really liquid feces get in small parts. Every cat poop scoop I've seen is too big for removing small particles from their litter, but this little reptile scoop is perfect! I'm sure it's great for reptiles too, but I use it on my cat.
