I've been wearing Cole-Haan penny loafers for 35 years. I was a little concerned when I read some recent reviews of alleged quality defects in these new pinch penny loafers. As I am still wearing 2 pairs that I have had for over 10 years, as soon as I got the new pair I did a 'look and compare' and 'put on and compare'. I can't tell any difference in look, feel, quality and size between old and new. I am very happy with my purchase and would do it again in a heartbeat.

This purchase includes two separate pairs of matching Cole Haan loafers. The first pair only had a loud click in the left boot after 3-4 socks. Sent them back to Revain for a new pair. I love Cole Haan shoes but these soles are very smooth leather. If you walk on carpet, you will fall. I don't even know what they would look like on a tile floor because I couldn't walk across the room. When I had them before, they had a rubber strip on the bottom which gave them a non-slip texture. I just can't believe they are letting them go to the consumer. Be careful. Be very careful!
