I love these salt and pepper shakers. They are easy to refill and after use I don't have any salt or pepper on my counter. They are distributed from above. My mom had a set that she bought a few years ago. I fell in love and had to search and order for myself.

I bought this kit about 10 years ago and it still works. About 2 years ago I bought a second set and another one as a gift. Both of those last sets broke within six months. Their quality has greatly deteriorated. Cole and Mason used to be a trusted brand. Apparently not anymore. I would not recommend this set.

I like the clean design to show off the colored salt, but the bottom half of the salt shaker didn't last 6 months before falling apart. It was an embarrassing gift for my wife as I gave it to her for Christmas. Too late to go back to Revain and I couldn't find any warranty information from Cole & Mason. I have no plans to purchase any more of their products.

Owned for 10 years, our set only recently had an issue with the collar coming loose rendering the grinder unusable. Now a replacement is being sought. With normal use we have noticed a dusty coating of powder (salt or pepper) on the top where the salt or pepper is spread, so regular cleaning is required to maintain the original look in the photo. Satisfied with 10 years of use.

I love these salt and pepper grinders. It is good if there are no pieces of spices on the table and countertop. The degree of grinding is adjustable. They are very easy to fill. The only drawback and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that they break easily. Whenever it fell, and sooner than expected when it didn't. So far the price hasn't been too high to keep replacing them, but when I was looking for the latest set I noticed some startling amounts. If that's the case, I'll be going back…
