Cool, stylish, more functional and of higher quality than expected. My husband can't put them down and often pushes them back and forth between the kitchen and the dining table.

I bought these over a year ago and found they didn't grill as well when I bought them. This is because the chopper assembly is made of plastic at the bottom. Not only does it wear away from salt and pepper, it also leaves plastic in my food. I would recommend the Atlas pepper mill as it is all metal.

The shakers were well packaged and feel very sturdy - they're also half filled with coarse sea salt and peppercorns which is nice. However, they are very different from those shown in the photo. They're still nice, but they're completely cylindrical, with a brushed metal top and bottom and clear acrylic in the center, so you can see what's salt and what's pepper.
