Thing is cool/flexible If you spilled coffee/had a few good drinks your medium cup will "flutter" towards you. I had to find a way to solve this problem, so I use a stretchy nylon thing to hold the cup "back" in place.

So I bought this model thinking it would be great for slightly bumpy terrain, how wrong I was! At first glance, a well-made bracket, solid and looks very high quality. But on the first ride, the mount broke off, leaving a piece of plastic that looked like a stem. With my drink falling down the street It was a disappointing start to a good day. Just my experience.

Water bottle does not hold up as described or pictured. Speaking of using it for an ATV or similar, there's no way to hold a water bottle upright or even rock back and forth to keep the water bottle in the cup holder while moving. I bought it to take a lawnmower ride and it didn't work well even there. IMHO, the idea is good but needs improvement.

Better assembled than most of these but two downsides: 1. The cup is not very deep. A full bottle of beer, for example, will get you pretty drunk.2. The mount has a fixed position, meaning there is no horizontal adjustment. If you can't find a board that's perfectly parallel to the ground (or water), you're out of luck. Used on a sailboat. Seems to handle roles very well. However, if you have to tack in strong winds with a full bottle on board, you are likely to spill.

This cup holder did not fit my ATV at all. I have a Polaris 850 if that matters. This is the handle mount, right side mount, the "clamp" device is in the gas path. This is not possible on the left side because of the brake lever. I do not recommend this for ATVs at all. I installed a mirror that doesn't bother at all. The clip is indeed a design flaw and the plastic is very thin so I gave it 2 stars. A stroller is best. I am planning to repurpose my child's wheelchair handle.

The reason I would only give the product description 3 stars is because it doesn't say it doesn't swivel side to side. So between two reviews I would give this product an overall rating of 4 stars.
