14/3 needed to replace the accidentally cut cable on the fridge. That was great. The braided cables were easy to manipulate, it wasn't difficult to split the cable a little more to get more spacing between the wires, and it was a plug and play job, which I expected. The only downside is that the overall girth was larger. than the cable I replaced so everything was a bit tight at the pinch point on the back of the unit but can't complain about the extra jacketing!

This is a very strong cable, great for powering some of the LED power supplies I use - probably too much for this caliber but I like it when things over the specifications go beyond. The cable has a molded outer sleeve that seals 3 wires in a housing, so it's a bit difficult to remove the extra sleeve to get a little extra length for installation, and I cut one off on the first try - forcing me to remove a few inches and start over. Otherwise I would buy it again and the price-performance ratio

This is SJTW -- SJ = General Purpose, 300V; T = thermoplastic coating (elastomer rubber and sufficiently flexible), W = weather-resistant. Other important factors are wire size and temperature class. This product has 14 AWG internal wires. This should be enough for a 13-15A rating depending on the wiring environment. It has a 75C rating, which is a lower rating.
