I needed this because I realized it's not safe to put your feet in a Chinese made foot spa when it's plugged into an unprotected outlet. I thought a GFCI extension would be the ticket. In fact, I hope I never find out if it really works. Of course, I will note that this device is also made in China. OK . I'll still give 5 stars until it works. and in that case I probably won't be able to change my rating.

I purchased this in February 2020 and it accidentally cut power to my pico coral reef aquarium for about a month. I thought maybe it was an outlet but it wasn't because it happened in different outlets. I also checked for a water leak in the unit and there is none. I'm parting with this thing after a few months of use. I need something reliable to keep my coral animals alive.

This is a sturdy pedestal stand. It's easy to organize the cord when you're on the go. The outlets are too close together for my needs, so I can usually only plug in 2. The cord is 5 feet shorter. It's as described, but I don't like it.

bought 3 pcs. One block has already failed. The second and third blocks work. They all experience many nasty power outages. I'm not sure if it's these units or the GFCI in general.

This product was recommended to me for its water resistance. I don't know if it's waterproof. I like this outlet and its location. Very pleasant feel and the cable is twisted in its own housing.

I use this in the garage as I don't have GFC sockets or a fuse box. But it heats up when plugged in all day. It's fine for my purposes, but I turn it off when I'm not using it. This should help with durability and power as it draws some power even when nothing is plugged in.
