Fantastic quality mug sets

These are amazing diner mugs. My favorite memory is growing up in New York on E 87th & 2nd Ave and going to the 3 Decker Diner on Sundays after church. Me, my grandmother and a small group of our friends went. When I was 12 I started ordering coffee, we ordered and these heavy white ceramic mugs were placed on hard wooden tables and I liked something about the sound. Beautiful Thick Wall Mugs

UPDATED 07/10/2019. I ordered another set of these mugs. They were cheaper than the first ones I bought but also a little different. You are not that fat. They're still good, but I prefer thicker ones. I would probably deduct half a star from my rating for them. When I was a kid, patrons would serve coffee in very thick cups (I think they only held 6 to 8 ounces). I've searched for years to no avail for the ones I remember. The coffee mug is equivalent to a thick DOF crystal cocktail glass. Easy. Nostalgia. Continuous. Functional.

I've added what's left of my favorite coffee mugs that I've had for over 30 years. The originals came from one of the first pannikins in San Diego before Starbucks came along. It's not quite the same, but nostalgic vintage mugs that bring back memories of restaurants and cafes. My originals had even thicker ceramics and the beautiful imperfections of handmade mugs.
