Yes I think it's expensive but it's built like a tank. For the frequent cigar smoker, this is the way to go. I see it as buying a refrigerator. Spend a few bucks more now so hopefully it will last a little longer, not something you'll ever have to think about again (besides refilling) :)

This is a Colibri, ignites instantly, produces a nice mixed flame, has good range of adjustment but annoyingly small dial. If you like the Xikar's finger-adjustable style, you won't like having to use a screwdriver to adjust it. Clear finish and looks great. Don't use cheap butane with it and don't fret about it clogging, it's up to you.

Doesn't work half the time ⁸. If the lighter only lasted 3 weeks it wouldn't hold much liquid either. I had to ship it back to New York for $14 to find the address. Colibri has been a great partner. But it turns out they were bought out. Received my new lighter from New York and only 2 out of 3 flames worked. I called the company and they told me to send it back and they will send me a new one. Well I asked them to pay for the return shipping, they refused. I don't pay 14.00 for shipping back…
