Collins Vanishing Fabric Marker Regular Review

Works as advertised. I thought the ink disappeared after washing. Remember that it will fade over time. I marked the seam to be repaired and when I came back two days later all my marks were gone! That's how it works! Really good!

I had high hopes for this marker. It hardly writes unless you practically crush the tip. It disappears before you sew it on. This only shows up when the fabric is predominantly plain and white or pastel in colour. Delivery was slow. The packaging was redundant. Wouldn't recommend it.

The ink was gone in less than 10 minutes! I used it to draw diagonal lines on 18 quilt squares to make half-square triangles. When I pinned the third to the substrate, the ink was completely out of sight! The fabric was Moda 100% cotton. I found it took a little longer on knitwear or jersey. Really unhappy with it; The marker draws well without the resistance of a chalk pen.
