ColorBok 61308C Smooth Cardstock Bright Review

I am very happy with this 12x12 notepad considering the colors and the price. It's great quality and durability for the price I bought it for ($6). I was nervous at first, I wouldn't have believed decent cardboard could be so cheap, and I was pleasantly surprised. The paper is smooth, durable and ideal for crafts. Works great with my embossing folders and embossing powder. It's a white core but I knew I wouldn't mind buying it, it still looks GREAT on my cards.

The thickness of the paper is nice and heavy and the texture is super smooth. I gave it 4 stars because the listing implies there are more neon/fluorescent colors when there aren't personal ones. They are bolder than "bright". The indigo on the right is actually deep purple, the teal is a deep ocean blue, the green is more of a yellow-green, the orange is quite active, and the pink is deep purple. If you're looking for neon cards, look elsewhere.

As others have said the perforation lines are fake - just printed but I could live with that flaw. The problem was that the paper colors did not match the colors advertised on the envelope at all. The yellow was definitely more of a bright shade of orange, and pink wasn't the bright color pictured on the cover either. The blue and green sheets were a little closer to what they should have been but still a bit muted and dirty. They didn't match the bright citrus decor I bought them for.

I would give 5 stars but I have a few questions. In a good way I really like this paper, it works great on my cricket. Good thick cardboard, colors are very bright. I am using them for a sesame street themed birthday party, next to the yellow they are great. Well, as far as 3 stars go, I'm very disappointed with the yellow color.
