🖍️ Vibrant and Varied: Veritas 48 Pack Colored Pencils, Assorted Colors In Canister Review

I bought a small set of these pencils from another seller and liked them so much I wanted a larger set. Color from pencils is applied evenly and slightly shaded. The quality is much better than many other colored pencils. Bonus: the wood of the pens is cedar, the pens have a light pleasant cedar aroma. I also like the round box/case they come in. It is durable and protects the pens and they are easy to reach unlike regular flat boxes. Highly recommended.

Nice set of crayons. The packaging says they're artistic quality, and they're smooth enough to support that claim. The pigment is light. Layering and blending is easy, with some wax build-up after just a few coats. Not exactly on the same level as Faber Castell Polychromos or Prismacolor Premier, but not bad at all. Much better than budget pens like Crayola and Hero with more pigment and smoother build up. Pencils can hold a point and I haven't had any breakages. Some colors can dust a little…

I love the pens, they are good quality. The only downside is that the color on top of the pen doesn't always match the actual color/tint on the paper. Also, the color distribution is uneven: some colors have a lot more crayons/shades than other colors. And the last and only unpleasant minus is the poor-quality packaging.
