24-Piece Set of Skinny Glitter Paper Washi Tapes in 12 Colors Review

I changed my original order because the tape didn't stick to plain paper. The second set I received looks about the same. Perhaps the tape is too narrow or the washi too thin to apply a stronger adhesive. The rest of the tapes are great.

I've tried these things several times. They just don't stick to my planner, I have to apply small drops of glue beforehand or use a dot applicator to make them stick to my paper. So if that doesn't bother you then they are perfect! Works well in school projects and I plan to use them for future kids projects. I'm just frustrated that I couldn't just use them in my planner :(

I use them for nail art and they work really well. If you put a regular top coat on them, they bleed out a bit. I have found that using a water based top coat over the tape and then letting it dry before applying the regular top coat seems to prevent this. They come in great colors with an amazing amount of shine. They tend to look a bit faded when first applying a top coat, but once they dry the color and shine are strong again.

Based on previous experience I was expecting them to be larger (never seen washi tape that thin) but I haven't checked the measurements so it's on me. The thickness fits its niche and I've needed washi tape that thin before, just not for this particular project. Stickiness is a good measure of washi tape; Adheres fairly well to most surfaces but can still be peeled off. later I really like this washi for several reasons: First, the glitter is like glossy paper, doesn't peel off or leave a mess. Second, Washi has good glue. It sticks but also lifts up easily if you need to reposition it. The colors are very beautiful and shiny. It can be easily cut with a straight edge. Finally, the washi itself is very thin. I am attaching a photo of my planner where I used this washi. You can see it's perfect for separating weekdays from weekends. The delivery was super fast!

The colors in this collection are great but that's the only positive thing I can say. With some roles it is very difficult to find where the end is. A couple of times I've just given up and used my Xacto knife to chop the top off to get started. Second, it is very labor intensive to glue the tapes.
