Order one size larger! My husband usually wears a large shirt, but in this style he wears a medium sized Columbia shirt. After reading the reviews I went for the large and it fits well! You can't really tell from the pictures, but the mother-of-pearl buttons and the colors go well with it!

This item will meet your expectations. Good quality as you would expect from Columbia. It looks good. It's cool and comfortable. The only real problem I have is that it comes out of the dryer very minty. To keep it looking good, you need to spend a lot of time ironing it or just send it to the laundry. What is actually coming is a completely different Blue Heron Plaid that matches an item on a different product listing with a white, blue, and yellow pattern. These are now my husband's favorite shirts. They are attractive, well made, breathable and sold at Revain for a very good price. I just keep picking new colors as they become available to add to his collection. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

I usually choose between small and medium sizes. I first ordered a medium and swam in it. The little one fits perfectly. I'll be using this shirt for sun protection when trail running and hiking, so the fishing specs won't do me much good. Snaps are the best feature though.

I'll start by trying Columbia's PFG shirts in four different styles and this one isn't as relaxed as the others, it's tight. My husband loves this shirt. Beautiful flannel pattern without any flannel material. Feels like a lightweight fishing shirt. Partners are cute with the Columbia vest. Pearl clasps are good, but sometimes they're hard to pull apart.

I bought three of these six months ago and was so impressed I decided to buy two more. While the first three are amazing and also fully synthetic, just like I wanted, the last two are 100% cotton. Not only that, they don't fit like the first three. The sleeves are at least 2 inches shorter (in the same size as the previous 3 ordered). So, to put it mildly, very disappointed. Make no mistake, I still like the shirts, I just need to iron them and won't be using them for hiking.
