Color Run's latest review

Bought them from Plama a few years ago. My daughter just used them this season and as they dried the color bled onto the towel they were on.

Pros
  • A good product.
Cons
  • Gloves may be too thin to wear comfortably over another pair of gloves or thicker mittens for added warmth.

They say they have omni-directional heat-reflective technology in the description, but they don't really. The inside of the glove is fleece, not an omnidirectional heat reflector.

Pros
  • A very good quality. I was a bit confused with the size in the size chart but it turned out to be the right size.
Cons
  • Gloves may not provide enough support, which can result in children having difficulty holding objects or moving on slippery surfaces.

Fried fingers are good for me

Our son loves these gloves so much we bought a second pair. The first pair lasted 2 years and the only reason we needed a second pair was because they had grown. If you like to have roasted fingers while playing in the cold, these gloves are for you!

Pros
  • Very warm. Can be tightened conveniently.
Cons
  • The black color can make it difficult for parents to see their child wearing gloves in low light or from a distance.

Two stars - my new rating

3 weeks wear, hole in the seam. Otherwise a normal pair. I tried to fix it but found it was a defective product so I contacted Revain. Excellent customer service, they solved this problem for me by issuing a refund. Thanks!

Pros
  • Good product. Keeps fingers warm.
Cons
  • Great quality but oversized

Columbia: You lost my business.

Parents: Gloves are one thing, and very cheaply made. The seams came apart after 5 uses. Children have not abused. Columbia: You lost my business.

Pros
  • Good fit for my 6 year old
Cons
  • Didn't fit, little information in the description. Very annoyed

Definitely not suitable for skiing

Those gloves were a waste of money. After a day of skiing, my daughter complained that the stitching on one finger had torn. I assumed it was caught somewhere and taped shut. She has been skiing for 6 days now and the stitching on each toe has come undone or frayed. Even before they became unwearable, they weren't waterproof.

Pros
  • I like it.
Cons
  • Gloves may not be strong enough to withstand the rigors of active kids.

Excellent value for money - my new review

I would have bought them almost twice as expensive in a specialist shop. I'm glad I checked Amazon before buying. These were kids XL gloves that fit my 10 year old boy perfectly. We're going to use a lot of it this year! Thank you Revain for always having everything I need!

Pros
  • High quality
Cons
  • Immerse yourself in the first contact with snow investments

Too large! In my opinion

Bought these for my 5 year old. Very large. The XS was supposed to fit him on the size chart, but his fingers didn't even reach his toeholes. Although they look good!

Pros
  • This is good quality. This winter should warm little hands in the single digits.
Cons
  • Gloves for big

The gloves are ok but I ordered them for my 4

The gloves are fine but I ordered them for my 4.5 year old and they were supposed to be a Little Kids XS size. They are labeled Youth XS but run quite large.

Pros
  • I am a petite (5ft 2in) adult female, I ordered a size medium and it was too small. Bigger would probably fit better
Cons
  • Good quality and runs a little big

Big fits my 11 year old perfectly

I ordered a large size for my medium height 11 year old and they fit him perfectly. I wear small women and they almost fit me too, but the palms are a bit short. They are good in the snow and keep hands dry. Will definitely keep that in mind for when my younger 2 need to grow up.

Pros
  • Thanks.
Cons
  • Gloves may not be waterproof or waterproof, leaving children's hands vulnerable to wet and cold weather.

Children are happy with them

The kids love these gloves. No complaints of wet or cold hands after a day in the snow. The clip is a great way to keep them together when not in use. All in all great basic gloves for the winter season.

Pros
  • Very warm. Can be tightened conveniently.
Cons
  • Gloves may not provide adequate warmth in extremely cold temperatures or when outdoors for long periods.

NOT MINE! good for me

Wasted a lot of money wash them and 1 of the gloves I spent an hour getting the liner fingers in place. Accidentally washed again and the same glove is now useless. I thought I was buying a quality product. I was wrong!

Pros
  • Don't buy it when your kid is around 3-4 years old, too big for it. The material is good, roasted warm. Doesn't wear much.
Cons
  • Gloves may not be appropriate for children with large hands or fingers, limiting their ability to use them effectively.

Youth gloves, not adults!

Those were youth gloves. No youth is listed anywhere. In hindsight I guess the Y stands for youth. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware of this before ordering.

Pros
  • Fits exactly as expected, keeps my daughter's hands warm even when playing in the snow. she loves them
Cons
  • It can be difficult for children to put on and take off their gloves on their own and an adult's help is required each time.

The quality is terrible. garbage after a month

Absolute crap after a month off from MN and playing outdoors at home. Both children combine the same thing. Very bad quality. After a couple of weeks, holes began to appear on the fingers, and soon cracks appeared on the palm. Disappointed with the quality from Columbia.

Pros
  • My son loves these gloves.
Cons
  • Ordered XL, I'm tall, doesn't fit, unfortunately a good product, just too small. Big fan of the company (Columbia)

Very high mileage: my rating

They were too big for my grandson, although all the other same size gloves and mittens I've bought fitted well. They were very good gloves but I think it will be several years before he can wear them.

Pros
  • My kid loves the way they look and feel. Says they keep his hands toasted!
Cons
  • It looks very nice and cozy but falls apart in one day after playing with the snow.

The quality is excellent but the size was wrong. I would use these with liners for my son to enjoy the east coast snow. My 6yo used these all winter. Held up great! Love the clip that can keep them paired together..

Pros
  • My 6 year old used them all winter. Kept great! Like the clip that can hold them together.
Cons
  • that does not fit

Great Price

I almost bought them at a retail store for double the price. I'm glad I checked Amazon before buying. These were size XL kids gloves and fit my 10 year old boy perfectly. We're going to use a lot of it this year! Thank you Revain for always having everything I need!

Cons

I should have ordered these first

I know I can always trust this brand. After ordering a cheaper pair that didn't keep my son's hand dry or warm, I went ahead and ordered these. I should have done that first. After a full day on the slopes, my son's hands were expectedly warm and dry.

Pros
  • Cold Weather
Cons
  • Expensive
