This is a very light weight fleece compared to other Columbia shirts I own, but still warm. It is very comfortable. Sizing note: I find the Columbia sizing to be a bit large, but I expect it to fit exactly as I would expect a Columbia shirt to fit. Fits true to size, very happy with this jacket. I'm a student and the temperature in our hall is always below zero. On exam days we are allowed to wear a jacket as long as there are NO POCKETS.
