Columbia Megavent Water Carbon Regular Men's Shoes Review

I liked the light weight. The shoes did not overheat the feet. I won't run if no one is following me, I'll use these shoes for fishing.

Great looking boat shoes and you can see how they will endure a day on the water. The seller's delivery was quick and responsive. They just didn't suit me. The return was prompt and courteous.

I have never reviewed a Columbia product but these shoes are fantastic. I bought these shoes two weeks ago today. And in the last two weeks I've been hiking in Moab for three days. I've run on water (Mill Creek Falls) and smooth rock (Crown Arch, Bow Tie Arch, Double Arch). Then I drove to Yosemite and walked through Yosemite Falls/Yosemite Point. They dry quickly but offer no dew/water protection. I've worn them on 10+ miles of hikes with complete comfort and support. The fit was great for my fairly wide toe box, not as wide as the New Balance. Very easy.

I'm so happy I bought this hat! I had bought this for my nightwalks with my dog, but found myself using this inside the house currently since we are in a deep freeze here in Texas! Used this during our power ourages and its amazing! Give out a lot of light!

These are extremely comfortable shoes. I walk a lot and this is one of the best shoes I have ever worn. One issue I've found is that the mesh in the upper of the shoe is very brittle and rubs off and tears easily. I could even see through the mesh, it was so thin. I'm sure they are great water shoes if worn occasionally, but they only lasted me about 5 months as a regular hiking shoe.

The sole of the shoe leaves marks on the boat. Holds up well but leaves marks all over the boat. Spend more time wiping shoe marks than fishing.

Bought these for sailing and am very satisfied. They fit perfectly, look beautiful and are comfortable in everyday use. They're great on boats. Very good grip on wet, smooth, slippery surfaces! I highly recommend it!

The best fishing shoes money can buy. I fish off the pier so many rocks huge granite boulders and shells these shoes keep me comfortable all day long. Very breathable, drains very quickly when the waves hit you so you can dry quickly. The rubber base sticks really well to rocky surfaces and works well on slippery rocks covered in algae.

I have had several PFG shoes and they are by far the best. For some reason they didn't last long either. These drainage devices are handy and have worked well on a 10 hour redfish day. I wish they had some sort of speed lacing so I didn't have to tie my laces. Let's hope they last longer than some of the other Columbia shoes I've had.

Great shoe for the money. I bought these after buying a few others and returning them before traveling to Costa Rica. Definitely worth the money and more than suitable for everyday wear, water shoes and light hiking. I had to order 1 size up due to my wide feet, but the length was just right for my normal size. The only thing I would change is the elastic laces, I don't know what's wrong with that but I would prefer regular laces. Overall great shoes for the money.

Bought these boots for fishing and for a trip to Cancun Mexico. In order not to break these shoes, they fit perfectly out of the box. The size is accurate and they have not given me any problems. On the first day we speak in cenotes in Mexico, and the shoes fit perfectly for all activities in Zapote cenotes. Ziplines, biking, cave swimming and exploring.
