Keeps your little ones warm and dry

These are great winter pants and you can tell the designers did a great job! The trousers have a wide cut so that base layers can also be worn underneath. There are Velcro straps at the waist that tighten the belt a bit. My 4 year old wears pants from size 4T to 5T and size xxs fits him well but is not too big. The leg cuffs are reinforced to prevent the pants from ripping if they are a bit longer and the pants have a Columbia Outgrown feature, which allows you to increase leg length as your…

Great pants! Fits more than you think.

Overall these Columbia snow pants are great. As mentioned by other reviewers, the sizes run large. I have a large 5 year old and bought the XXS (4/5) on recommendation and am glad I did. It fits perfectly and he will be able to wear it next year because of the OUTGROWN SYSTEM feature. Size XS would have been too big for sure. The size chart on the winter pant reads: US XXS: 4/5 (I found this to be large for a 4 year old. Suitable for a 'normal size' 5 year old with some room to grow. XS: 6/7S :
