My son really likes this jacket and I tried to steal it. It is very soft, soft, very light and still retains warmth. It is ideal to throw it in a backpack when not wearing it so that it does not get lost. But honestly, he wears it all the time!

Good quality, nice jacket. It's warm but light. My 7 year old is hot so this is just the perfect jacket for him. We love it. The fleece material can pill and look worn out after several washes.

Bought this for my son who is 8 and bought a medium size, we live in Florida and he needed something light but warm with a hood and it was actually perfect

The jacket is soft, warm and of excellent quality. It fits as expected and the hood is the perfect size. We will order this product again once my son outgrows this one.

This fleece is very soft but having bought other Columbia fleeces in the past (including Revain) this one is disappointing. It felt very cheap and flimsy, almost like fluffy felt! Hold it up to a sunny window and you'll see light through the fabric, so it's clear the wind will cut through it too. Disappointing because it fits well!

This jacket is very well made. My boys are VERY rough with clothes and usually destroy things before they outgrow them. They actually outgrew the jackets and I ordered them a size up so they can continue to enjoy their jackets. I'm really impressed with the quality of this little fleece jacket!

We keep buying these for our boys, great fleece with pockets and hood. Washes great, no stains. The gray also shows no fluff or hair, the service life is at least 3 years. Maybe they are a little long in the sleeves.

I kept this jacket because my son lost it at school but it looks cheap compared to the Columbia products I've previously bought from local stores.

I buy them for children every year. They are hooded, fairly long, well made and have zipped pockets. They get dirty and they wash well (if your child is very dirty, a darker color would be appropriate). We then sell the jackets when they are too small to be usable!

I think it's not comparable to ordering from the real Columbia website. I see other comments suggesting fakes and I think so. I order one from Revain and one online (same style, just different sizes). The one on the real page seems thicker and better quality. A bit disappointed but my son doesn't care. He really wanted red, so I ordered Revain for him.

I ordered this jacket for my 12 year old son. Reference: height 5 feet 8 inches, weight 115 pounds. and the children's XL fits him perfectly. In my experience Columbia runs a bit larger than other brands, which was fine in this case as my son has outgrown almost every other brand in kid sizes but the men's sizes are too big for him. He wore it on a cold autumn morning and will be able to wear it under his heavy down coat when the winter temperatures really drop. We also like that it has a hood.

This is not a jacket but a thin fleece sweatshirt. It's very soft, the cut is more athletic so I would take a size up than you would expect your child to if they need some space. (Especially to wear a long sleeve or semi-wobbly shirt underneath.) It's the perfect fit and thickness to wear UNDER an all-weather jacket to add some warmth to the other jacket.
