🧒 Columbia Boys' Ice Slope II Pant: Rugged Winter Wear for Active Boys Review

My 2 year old is actually ready to wear them. As any parent knows, this is an absolute win. They don't go to bed, they don't let snow in their pants and boots. It's on the low end (34% in height) and they've made it through the winter so far. Love the elastic at the bottom that goes over his boots to keep the snow out. We liked them because they weren't bibs and were a lot easier (and he was a lot more willing) to put on.

Exactly what I was looking for to keep my 12 year old son warm and dry while sledding and skiing. I bought XL. The pants are a bit large for a 5ft 2in boy weighing 115lbs. I look forward to wearing these season two pants. The material is durable and has withstood repeated falls while sledding and skiing.

These are very neat! My 8 year old uses every day and with less snow than usual this year I was concerned they would rip or tear but held up great!

I bought the pants in a small size for my 5 year old grandson who is very skinny. The length was just right for him and the adjustable waist made the fit perfect. They tell me that the pants are warm and don't let them get wet when sledding. I'm glad I bought them.

These snow pants are perfect. They fit well and offer good freedom of movement. They will keep my son dry and warm if we ever have snow to play with.

Fits well and is comfortable. My child aged 3+ has played in the snow many times in these pants since I bought them a few weeks ago. It's really good to protect my son from snow and cold.

My son is about 50 pounds and 50 inches and they fit great. They have adjustable velcro straps on the sides, which is very important to us. My son hasn't worn them in the snow yet but he has had other winter pants from Columbia which worked well and lasted (for 2 seasons) so my youngest son could wear them to rough play too and I expect the same from them.

A very solid pair of children's trousers - especially for the price. Add a pair of underpants and your little boy or girl will be happy on the slopes.

These XS sized winter pants fit my 5 year old grandson who is 38 pounds and 40 inches tall over a not too heavy pair of fleece pants. Fits exactly as expected. Although there is only one button/zipper at the front, the pants are easy to pull up. Velcro on each side of the waist allows for extra room if needed, although I'm not sure if the waist is adjustable. The ankles seem very suitable for keeping the child dry while playing snowball. At first I thought we were bringing these winter pants…

The best winter pants for kids who really play in the snow. They're waterproof, not just water-resistant, so you can take them off and leave dry clothes underneath. Looks like new even after almost two seasons. Didn't use a scalable size but looks like it will work well and last a few years on these pants.

My 4 year old grandson is easy to pull and he is huge! The adjustable waist accommodates his small waist. I hope it lasts 2 years as they are expensive.

Very happy with these ski pants! They fit perfectly as you can adjust them on either side with velcro straps on the outside of the pants for easy access to tighten or loosen your waist. My son loves them because they feel like fleece on the inside and are so soft. They kept him warm and dry through many falls and slips while skating! Love the adjustable length when he grows up - he'll probably be able to wear it for at least 2 years!

I am a size 8 for an 8 year old boy who is tall and muscular/lean and weighs 62 pounds. Space to put on jeans and very comfortable for school. Luckily the waist is adjustable.

I bought this for my 10 year old nephew for Christmas. He's snowboarded in them and stayed warm the whole time - he seems to really like them (as much as you can LOVE black snow pants).

I bought 2 pairs of winter pants; one in blue and one in black. The fit of both my boys was perfect. My boys are both slim, so that's mostly a problem. The waist is adjustable with velcro straps on the sides, fastened with a braid. My boys say the pants are comfortable and not too bulky. We have yet to race them, so we're not sure about performance. It is excellent. They are NOT waterproof but seem to keep out the cold wind well and are decently waterproof and they go well over pants for school and play so I would recommend.

The pants fit our grandson perfectly and were easy to put on and take off. They also have the ability to grow with your child by untying the bottom cuff to make it longer. A great idea! They also wash well as our grandson loved rubbing himself up against dirty cars in his snow suit.

Definitely one of the best winter pants to wear: warm, comfortable to wear all day, nice colours, waterproof enough. That's Columbia brand quality at a great price. However, they have no special reinforcement in the knee area; but"overgrown" system is very convenient.

Bad quality breaks down. An ankle falls apart completely after three landing laps and several days of snow. Very disappointing, should have bought another brand with stiff cuffs. I do not recommend. :(

My 19 month old loves these winter pants and they fit him very well. He is less than 3ft tall and these pants fit him perfectly. It snowed a lot in New England this winter and I feel good when my son plays in the snow in these pants.
