Great shoes! Durable AF.

My child is very picky about shoes. You couldn't intentionally ruin them faster if you tried. That's great. He wore them all year round. You look great after all this time! In fact, he only chose this pair of shoes because all the other sneakers and sandals fell apart. So he wears these hiking shoes to school, to the beach, to the park, etc. I love these shoes and will definitely buy the next size up if he needs them!

Pros
  • Hiking and trekking
Cons
  • Little things

Cheap weird material not real leather

I don't know what's going on in the shoe industry but this is the second major disappointment I've had with a big brand sneaker, the second being Merrell. It's like they make their hiking shoes out of cheap, fake, flimsy rubber material that looks more like a rubber boot than a hiking boot. Oddly enough, when you walk in them, the shoe curves right above the laces and rests on the toes. I have a very similar model (Newton Ridge) in real leather, I like them a lot and I thought they were similar

Pros
  • Shoes
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

This is the first pair of shoes that don't hurt my feet after the first kilometer. They do not slip on stone and wood. They are not waterproof at all. Even walking on grass with dew will get your toes wet. I apply mink oil on them and it works great. They are true to size which means they are not easy to put on but once you have them on they…
