Based on my observations, this hiking gear does not provide the protection it claims to give .While it may be breathable it did not stand up to the elements during my outdoor excursions. One positive note is that it was comfortable to wear. However, for the price, I expected more durability and functionality. I would not recommend this product to anyone serious about Sports and Outdoors..

As a hesitant buyer, I was looking for the perfect outdoor recreation clothing, and I found it in this product. Sports and outdoors enthusiasts will find that this item from Columbia provides all the protection and breathability you need while trekking or hiking. As a result of my tests, I determined that it could withstand even the harshest of conditions while keeping you comfortable. The only downside I could find was that it's slightly more expensive than some of the other options available.

I am usually a size smaller (5ft 5in 130lbs) but this shirt runs quite large. Had to order XS but even that is a bit too still no you want a tight or restrictive field shirt so the XS works well for me Breathable, dries quickly, easy to clean (the shirt in beige looked rough after two days of trekking the African jungle - completely covered in mud, some blood (scraped off) and stained vegetation! - but a quick hand wash in the sink with soap and all the stains were gone).
