Nice coat, well made but for the price the coat could be better. Velcro is stupid. If you don't ruffle them all the way, they'll snag on anything knitted, like a scarf or gloves! The faux fur isn't the best, but it's okay. Had I encountered a problem with the velcro prior to removing the tags I would have returned it. Although very warm.

I love this coat! I was going north and needed something warm and since I was flying I didn't want anything bulky so it was perfect and worth every penny. I often find it difficult to get a good fit, but this one is perfect. I couldn't ask for anything better. Good quality with additional features such as inner cuffs on the sleeves and vents under the arms. High quality fabric, good quality.

Good size coat. I increased the size of the sweatshirt by 2 sizes but I probably only needed one. This is my second Columbia this year. I sent the first one back because the stupid zippers got stuck in the fabric, and then after a month and a half the main zipper started opening from the bottom. Love this coat! I'm 5'10" and the sleeves are surprisingly long! The thumb holes are a nice addition too, although they're quite long even when not in use. I originally bought the black color but sent it back due to the finish of the fabric. I prefer Dark Nocturnal due to the 'finishing' of the fabric It's hard to explain but if you look closely at the product images you will see the difference Can't comment on durability as I've only had it for about a week. This coat is fantastically warm. I'm a dog walker so I spend hours in the rain and snow and this coat is very comfortable for me. I like the lining in the sleeves that goes down the arm and hooks at the thumb. The hood is very roomy but difficult to open. When it's windy I struggle to tighten it just enough so it doesn't fly off my head. But even in this case, the fur lining perfectly protects the face from snow. Bought for a trip to Alaska in January . I felt very warm in this jacket! Maybe even too hot to be honest. Part of our trip consisted of highly active activities like skiing, snowshoeing, mountaineering etc. I actually sweat THROUGH the jacket a few times.
