Large or Extra Large

I had a hard time deciding on a size. It doesn't fit so I'm going back to XL. I'm 5'5 and 177 lbs. and it was too tight in belly and thighs. I'm pretty even-tempered. So if this is your figure, then go up one size. The arms were also a bit longer.

Sized not for skiing

I love the style of this lightweight jacket. However, the large, which is my usual size, was very narrow and the extra large was very large. I really wish they were somewhere in between. I will keep the very large but am disappointed that it doesn't have a fitted look and looks boxy instead.

Silver dots on the inside of the coat make you look like tinsel in a black coat

The silver isolating dots on this jacket are not that visible in the photos but on a black coat they are very well noticeable and disturbing. When you wear this coat, even unbuttoned a little, the discs become visible and I thought I looked like a Christmas tree. I wish I would like the general fit etc. If you don't mind or feel the bright silver "bling" discs around your face, then you'll be fine.

Very odd fit on jackets

I usually wear size M in women's jackets and outerwear (I'm 5'6" and 125 lbs, but based on all the reviews warning about sizing up, I'm a big one Ordered the large size was too big and I swam in it - looked like I was wearing a clown costume with everything too big and big especially around the shoulders and arms.Sent it back and ordered a medium which other reviewers warned of have found it to be a very tight fit.Oddly enough, the shoulders are very loose and look like they were made forโ€ฆ

Not suitable for clothing

I tried on the same coat in the store so before ordering I thought it might be what I needed but I just don't like the fit. The medium one is a full 5 inches smaller in the hip area and I can't even zip up so I'm forced to go for the large which oddly only fits my 41 inch hips. The collar is the part I can't get past. I thought I would like to cover my neck all the time but it's too big and so uncomfortable when it hits my face. It makes looking from side to side very uncomfortable because itโ€ฆ

Buy one size larger if you want to wear multiple layers of underwear.

I have a down coat and I love it so I wanted the jacket option when I don't need a long coat. I find it very warm and comfortable. It's lightweight so I don't feel like it's being pulled down like I've had with other coats and jackets. I think layers are a must. The large size fits perfectly with the sweater underneath. If I were to buy a medium I think it would be a bit adjusted to wear something thick underneath. Zippered pockets are also a must for me as I hate carrying bags and love to keep
